Office Applications Specialist needed to work on-site in support of the:

This is a temporary to permanent contract position with an hourly pay rate of $ 24.45 an hour.

Period of Performance: 

Monday through Friday, day time office hours
Telecommuting is approved for this position
Through November 2020 

Resume Requirements: 
-  Microsoft Word, 10 pitch font, 1" margins, Two page maximum length
-  Brief summary of experience to include: 
  • ​Total number of years of experience in each office application software, total number years litigation support or government support experience
  • Current or prior NACI Public Trust clearance, if applicable
  • Two (2) page resume in MS Word format, over all 1” margins, 10-pitch font  
  • One (1) page with at least three (3) professional references in the following format: MS Word, over all 1” margins, 10-pitch font

-  Undergraduate degree preferred. Litigation support experience valued
 -  Must be a US Citizen.  Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance through a National Agency Check and Inquiry  (federal background check)
-  Two to three years continuous experience in office administration, preferably in government 
-  Typing/keyboarding skills 40 to 50 WPM 
-  Proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheet, imaging, and telecommunications systems 
-   Must be knowledgeable of  government office and network environment
-  Ability to perform detailed work consistently, accurately, and under pressure extremely important
-  Able to read and follow instructions, understand task, task objectives, and the context in the litigation support effort as a whole
-  Take the initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete task correctly (e.g. where instructions are not explicit or appear to be contrary to the task objective)

Responsibilities and Tasks Include:

 --  Front desk reception and answering phone calls;  sorting through incoming mail;  finalizing standardized letters and memorandums with proofreading and editing;
--  Word processing with mail merge;  performing simple database searches;  sorting through incoming mail
--  Filing, retrieving, and copying case file materials; creating witness binders; preparing deposition and trial exhibits
--  Tracking documents to ensure responses on time

--  Assisting with travel arrangements and travel vouchers 
--  Scheduling interviews for attorneys; setting up virtual teleconference conferences; scheduling monthly Civil Rights Section meetings
--  Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines for multiple staff members
