Initial contract for one year, with expectation of annual extensions

Specialized Litigation Support Technician
Qualifications:
A minimum of eight (8) years of hands on operational experience as a Specialized Litigation Support Technician. To work in the specific field the employee must have at least four recent years in the specific area(s) listed above of hands-on operational experience. (No substitution of education for work experience.)
- A Master’s Degree (Acceptable substitutions for a master’s degree with eight (8) years of experience:
1. A Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of related exempt work experience or
2. A high school degree plus 13 years of related exempt work experience)
- Presence and/or notability of past experience in providing advisory services at a high organizational level with the Federal Government.
- Have effective communication skills (phone, email, etc.)
Strong case-related administration and organizational skills that include any or all of the following:
- language translation,
- auditing and accounting services,
- statistical analysis,
- financial fraud related research skills
- enthusiasm for litigation
- ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding office environment
- Ability to use a personal computer to access and retrieve data (i.e., Word, Excel, email applications, and Windows Operating Systems).
- Be proactive, dependable, and capable
- Possess good judgement, and high ethical standards
- The ability to maintain confidentiality entrusted to them
- Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Secret Clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently have a favorably adjudicated Secret Clearance, preferred
- Skill in supporting Federal managers and executives, preferred
Specialized Litigation Support Technician
Responsibilities/Duties:
Help and perform a wide variety of litigation administrative support functions that include but are not limited to:
- Serves as specialized professional in support of litigation
- Serves as specialized professional in investigations
- Serves as specialized professional in case-related administration
- Serves as specialized professional in language translation, auditing and accounting services
- Serves as specialized professional in statistical analysis, and financial fraud related research
- Refers inquiries requiring technical program knowledge to an appropriate staff member for follow-up and maintains a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Uses office automation software packages and equipment to type, edit, and format letters memorandum, reports, and other documents
- Other litigation administrative support duties, as assigned
