This is a temporary to permanent hire Service Contract Act position with an hourly pay rate of $23.00 that includes a Health and Welfare Benefit of $4.22 an hour.
 
Service  Contract Act, or SCA, position pay rates are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect an annual salary as a permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.


Period of Performance: 
 
June 1, 2021 with anticipate annual extensions through May 31, 2025
Potential for placemen/ transfer to federal contract employee after six (6) months of employment
Remote work operations during the pandemic.  Candidates must have ability to work on-site give prior notification.
 
Normal operations: 40 hours a week, Monday- Friday (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) with the exception of federal holidays, unless otherwise stated

Document Management Analyst II
 
Qualifications: 
 
  • Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Three (3) years of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Requires hands-on familiarity with the government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform, Trial Director, et cetera
  • Should be a knowledgeable user of the government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems
  • Ability to perform detailed work consistently, accurately, and under pressure extremely important
  • Ability to work and interact professionally and effectively with all levels of staff
  • Ability to meet established deadlines and work as a team player in a professional office
  • Skilled in meeting and dealing with people in a courteous and tactful manner
  • Some walking, standing, bending and carrying of small office items
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Experience working in a Government and/or Litigation Support environment in conjunction with basic qualifications, preferred
  • Paralegal Certificate or paralegal experience strongly preferred
  • Prior document review experience using automated document review systems is desired
  • Prior experience with criminal litigation support is desired
  • Automated litigation support experience
  • Experience with Nuix and/or LAW PreDiscovery
  • Trial experience very helpful
  • Experience with organization and management of a large volume of documents/discovery
  • Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources preferred
  • Current or active clearance
 
 
Document Management Analyst II
 
Responsibilities/Duties:
 
  • Assists Assistant U.S. Attorneys and support staff with criminal matters
  • Performs database searches, exports reports, and other data retrieval assignments using established network databases including Westlaw, Lexis Nexis, Relativity, and CaseView
  • Performs moderately complex litigation support tasks, including discovery productions, detailed review and analysis of case materials in a broad range of subject matters, such as litigation files
  • Supports investigative and trial teams by preparing subpoenas, uploading/organizing subpoena returns, preparing discovery and assisting in discovery productions, and creating trial exhibits
  • Drafts documents for accomplishing litigation support assignments
  • Proofreads and edits deliverable products, and enters data into case management systems
  • Prepares documents for scanning, performs other document collection related activities, including Optical Character Recognition of documents, redacting and labeling of files
  • Prepares and submits legal pleadings, forms, reports, correspondence, and other documents within established deadlines
  • Completes detailed indexing of case files, creates witness binders, and prepares deposition and trial exhibits
  • Creating logs for subpoena returns and discovery purposes
  • Drafts legal documents for attorneys’ review, including but not limited to motions and responses to defense pleadings
  • Reviews and edits drafts of substantive legal documents drafted by attorneys, and other support staff members
 
The above-mentioned duties may be performed as single functions or in combination with one another.  One is expected to perform duties as defined by the contract in conjunction with the statement of work.
