Special Requirements:
-  Must be a U.S. citizen

(active clearance preferred)
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or related field desired)

Work Experience: Twelve (12) years professional experience, eight (8) years current experience digital forensics data collection and processing

Certification: One non-vendor specific Digital Forensics Certification, Two (2) tool-specific Digital Forensics Certifications
Hands on experience with EnCase, Forensic Toolkit,  X-Ways, Cellebrite or other related digital forensics applications is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Senior Computer Forensics Specialist
  • Supervise a team of contract computer forensic analysts with duties that include:
  • Case assignment, case management, scene management, and other similar duties of a first line supervisor
  • Analyzes support requests and determine tools and procedures required to preserve, collect and analyze electronically stored information (ESI) in a forensically sound manner
  • Performs expert collection, processing, and analysis of collected ESI in accordance with Forensics laboratory and ISO standards
  • Deliver processed data and reports.  Perform required reporting and documentation and maintain chain of custody of computer forensics evidence
  • Capable of independently handling complex, large volume, and previously un-encountered situations and examinations
  • Guides, assists, and mentors less experienced Computer Forensic Specialists
  • May be called to testify in legal proceedings regarding digital/ computer forensic work performed on assigned cases
  • Acts as Team Lead for contract digital/ computer forensic staff
