This is a supervisory position with required experience in Electronically Stored Information, ESI, tools, e-Discovery data analytics, processing, and productions with Relativity database or equivalent e-Discovery relational database.

The federal contract project manager advises there are four (4) positions to fill.

This position is exempt for the Service Contract Act wage determination. The pay rate is up to $34.75 an hour, based on candidate meeting qualifications, to include preferred, and experience listed in responsibilities and duties.
Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect an annual salary of up to $75,000 as a permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.
Period of Performance:
Date of hire through May 31, 2023 with expected annual renewal through November 2024.
Position considered fully remote, with telework to be performed in accordance with the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division policies and rules of behavior, including any applicable pandemic‐related telework policies.
For most staff, the vast majority of the document review work will be performed in ATR’s instance of Relativity v10.3, so a reliable, high‐speed internet connection is an essential requirement to telework.
Selected candidates may be asked to work on‐site on an occasional basis, most likely on one of the core days set by the Antitrust Division sections. The core days are currently set at every Tuesday and Thursday, but the policy and the days are subject to adjustment upon periodic review.
Occasional on‐site meetings may be held involving any or all positions, so it is preferred that the contractor reside in the Washington, D.C. local area, National Capital Region.

This position is fully remote, but with a requirement to come into the office as needed (subject to change). Candidates required to have ability to work on-site/ in office with prior notification.
Provides direct supervision for the Senior Paralegals
Provides subject matter and technical training to Senior Paralegals, as necessary
Works with Division management, trial attorneys, and Division paralegals to manage tasks for Senior Paralegals
Designs searches for privileged, responsive, or relevant documents using the advanced analytic tools available through the Division’s document review platforms
Interfaces with the Division’s Litigation Support Section to coordinate on the technical/data processing aspects of matters
Reviews and analyzes documents, transcripts, files, and other materials for responsiveness and to locate information and evidence relevant to investigative actions or responsive to requests for production, interrogatories, requests for admissions, and other discovery requests
Identifies possibly privileged documents and reviews and prepares privilege logs
Uses electronic databases and other electronic means to perform litigation support tasks, including reviewing, organizing, indexing, tagging, and summarizing documents, files, and other materials
Conducts database searches for documents and information
Assists attorneys in preparing for, and conducting, depositions and interviews with investigative sources, expert witnesses, and prospective fact witnesses
Assists attorneys with all phases of civil litigation, including pretrial investigations and discovery, motions, hearings, trials, and appeals
