This position is exempt from wage determination Service Contract Act. The hourly wage for the position is $43.00 based on experience and qualifications, and U.S. Department of Labor information.
Service Contract Act, or SCA, position pay rates are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect an annual salary as a permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.
Period of Performance:
This is an in-office/ on-site position; remote/ tele-work operations at the decision of federal agency/ division personnel.
Date of hire through May 31, 2023 with potential for annual extension. (Federal contractor preference for selected candidate to become federal contract employee after six (6) months employment.)

Systems Analyst/ Database Query/ Database Administrator Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree, Computer Science, et cetera
Minimum three (3) years of experience
In-depth experience with Oracle 12c or 19, SQL Server 2016 and above as well as unstructured data
Strong editing background and ability to work with multiple groups across the Civil Rights Division
Designing and documenting technical specifications
Designing and developing SQL Server/Oracle database structures and processes
Designing and implementing appropriate security access procedures
Providing feedback on user interfaces, critical business rules and functionalities
Must be a US Citizen
Able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Database Administrator experience in Oracle and/or SQL Server
Amazon Web Services, AWS and/or Microsoft Azure database experience
Configuration, use, set up and support of Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI
Systems Analyst/ Database Query/ Database Administrator Responsibilities/Duties:
Systems Analyst works directly with government staff and/or under the direction of the Systems Manager to determine reporting, query and analysis specifications.
• Analyzes partially or undocumented tables to establish relationships and appropriate fields to use for queries/reports • Works out the details of functional and design requirements, systems design, data elements, data validation specifications, data capture mechanisms, and data conversion procedures through discussions with government staff and own superiors
• Executes queries and reports • Compare results to existing reports where available to validate analysis and extrapolate to new related queries/reports
• Makes presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and in oral presentations • Develops systems documentation • Consults with government staff and with other contractor staff to assure understanding of task objectives, identifies problems and suggests improvements
• Reports on progress to government staff and to superiors • Provides user and technical documentation and training
