This is a temporary to permanent hire Service Contract Act position with an hourly pay rate of $ 19.45 that includes a Health and Welfare Benefit of $4.41 an hour.

Service  Contract Act, or SCA, position pay rates are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect SCA pay rate as permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.


Period of Performance: 

Current contract period: Date of Hire through May 31, 2024
-  with the potential for annual extensions through May 31, 2027
preference for placement/transfer as federal contract employee after six (6) months employment with C&C International

Normal Work Operations: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40 hours a week, with the exception of federal holidays
(Work hours may be adjusted by federal personnel.)

Data Entry Technician
Qualifications: 
 
  • Must have High School Diploma or General Education Diploma, GED, certificate
  • One to two (1-2) years of general data entry experience to include but not limited to:
  • Experience operating an alphanumeric keyboard
  • Must have experience operating a variety of office automation equipment and personal computers
  • Must have ability to work independently and be detail oriented


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a litigation support environment preferred


Data Entry Technician
Responsibilities/Duties (not limited to):
 
  • Enters data into variety of computer systems
  • Enters data in prescribed format for subsequent processing
  • Reviews error messages and makes corrections during data entry
  • Maintains operating records
  • Logs and controls documents
 
  • Follows current written policies and procedures referencing the U.S. Attorney’s Office government travel accounts and victim witness management
  • Utilize the Fact Witness Travel database to input witness data/information
  • Review witness travel requests and assigns travel authorization numbers
 
  • Proofreading data for accuracy
  • Recognize missing forms and documents
  • Research and provide missing data/documents/information
  • File, copy, and distribute travel materials
 
  • Assist witnesses with travel arrangements, fact witness vouchers, etc.
  • Utilizes the Victim Notification System (VNS) to input new victim contact information
  • Provide victims with notification of public court proceedings utilizing VNS
  • Generate and mail victim notification letters
