Pay Rate Information

This is a temporary to permanent hire Service Contract Act position with an hourly pay rate of $20.80 that includes a Health and Welfare Benefit of $4.57 an hour.

Service  Contract Act, or SCA, position pay rates are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect an annual salary as a permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.

Current contract period: Date of Hire/ Completion of Public Trust Suitability Determination Process through May 31, 2024
-  with the potential for annual extensions through May 31, 2027
preference for placement/transfer as federal contract employee after six (6) months employment with C&C International

Work Hours of Operation:  , Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, two (2) 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch, except for federal holidays, unless otherwise stated

Overtime and travel may be required as needed with proper authorization from federal personnel.

Document Management Analyst I
Qualifications: 
 
  • *One (1) year of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree
    • Certain assignments may require experience or substantial undergraduate coursework in, for example, finance/accounting, health care, or substantial experience in the legal environment or in information technology
 
  • *Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 
  • *Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment
 
  • *Requires hands-on familiarity with the government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform, Trial Director, et c or similar applications/databases.
 
  • *Should be a knowledgeable user of the government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems
 
  • *Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure will be very important.
 
  • *Ability to obtain a Public Trust Suitability Determination with favorable recommendation
  • *Must be a U.S. citizen


Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • *Experience working in a government and/or litigation support environment in conjunction with basic qualifications
  • *Automated litigation support experience
  • *Current or active clearance

Document Management Analyst I
Responsibilities/Duties:
 
  • Answering phones, greeting visitors, copying, mail processing, closing files, maintaining files and the calendar system for assigned attorneys which accurately keeps track of due dates for pleadings, hearings, Court appearances, meetings and other deadlines
  • Review files and documents for a variety of criminal or civil cases to become familiar with the issues and identify pertinent material
 
  • Establishes and maintains an effective system of compiling, indexing, and organizing this information and its sources
  • Participates and assists in preparation for trial by compiling, organizing, and indexing various evidentiary exhibits
 
  • Marks and identifies trial exhibits and drafts a list of exhibits to be offered at trial.
  • Prepares narrative summaries and other documentation
 
  • Maintains electronic case files which are organized, current, accessible, and retrievable and maintains integrity of data inputted into the case management system
  • Types correspondence, pleadings and a variety of documents for the assigned Assistant U.S. Attorneys’ cases, as well as communicates with other agency personnel
