Pay Rate Information

This position is exempt from the Service Contract Act Wage Determination Registry with an hourly pay rate of $45.00 an hour.

Service  Contract Act, or SCA, position pay rates are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect an annual salary as a permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.

Remote/ Telework Hours of Availability:
  • Monday-Friday, 8: a.m. – 6:00 p.m. no more than 40 hours of work per week
  • Overtime only with prior approval

Standard Work Hours of Operation:  , Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, two (2) 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch, except for federal holidays, unless otherwise stated

e-Discovery/ FOIA/ MS Share Point Lead
Qualifications: 
 
  • Undergraduate degree required and five-plus (5+) years of prior relevant experience
 
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience providing e-Discovery services and litigation support on complex and large cases involving complex e-Discovery challenges
 
  • Advanced knowledge of FOIA Express, MS SharePoint and Relativity (front end and back end)
 
  • Have demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess detailed planning and organizational skills and have a thorough understanding of processes at each stage of e-Discovery lifecycle
  • Solid, broad knowledge of Information Technology infrastructures including networks and other sources of data
 
  • Prior knowledge and experience managing e-Discovery projects and related technologies required
  • Advanced experience planning e-Discovery efforts
 
  • Proficiency in a wide range of technologies and be knowledgeable as to e-Discovery industry “best practices” including an understanding of multiple tools and processes associated with large scale complex e-Discovery response
  • Establish compliance with all directives for secured handling of documents
 
  • Proven ability to work in a fastpaced production environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling on extremely tight deadlines
  • Work as part of a team be able to manage complex relationships with all stakeholders
  • Be well organized, a strong communicator, detail oriented, demonstrate good judgment, be confident working independently

  • Perform advanced searches in Relativity document review platform
   
  • Experience with meeting with senior U.S. Dept. of Justice management
  • May require extended hours on short notice depending on production deadlines
 
  • Able to obtain Public Trust security clearance
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must reside in the D.C. metro area

e-Discovery/ FOIA/ MS Share Point Lead
Responsibilities/Duties:

Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) and Microsoft SharePoint Lead to work onsite to support Civil Rights Division in Washington, DC.
  • Qualified candidate additional experience with e-Discovery and MS SharePoint

Primary Responsibilities
The FOIA – SharePoint Lead responsible for:
  • technical aspects and assisting with strategic and legal aspects for all assigned projects and matters involving electronic discovery operations
 
  • Consults with case manager / project manager to effectively develop and apply technical strategies, requirements and goals in order to develop and implement project plans, including data collection, processing, document production and trial
 
  • Providing input on technology options to respond to specific discovery needs including but not limited to recommendations for products to perform early case assessment, document search, and document reviews in the most efficient, timely, and costeffective manner
 
  • Must have in-depth experience with:
    • Relativity e-Discovery document review database
    • FOIAExpress Platform/ Software
    • FOIA case management and support
    • Microsoft SharePoint
 
  • Creates statistical reports providing information on collection, filtering, processing, review and productions
 
  • Performs Relativity workflow tasks, including data management, processing, production and quality control; modifying workflows; training case team on Relativity
 
  • Stays abreast of emerging electronic discovery litigation support technology and processes
  • Maintains current knowledge of available software applications and in area(s) of expertise
 
  • Contributes to regular briefings on new technology and process improvements with regard to electronic discovery
