Sr. Employment Representative _
Clearance - Public Trust
Responsible for recruiting activities related to employment and recruiting programs. Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Works with all levels of management to understand job and needs requirements. Surfaces candidates and develops networks to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using agencies, recruiting contractors, web based tools, and other resources. Prepares ratings on applicants, provides applicants with information on the company, checks references, arranges transportation of selected applicants, extends formal job offers, and works with management and HR to negotiate with candidates to successfully complete the hiring and on boarding process.
To assist senior agency HR manager, successful candidate will have extensive HR/Employment experience in a government environment, mastery of the GS- grading system, ability to draft clear and concise position descriptions. The position requires excellent attention to detail, outstanding collaborative skill, the ability to successfully interact with a wide variety people, both inside and outside the agency and highly developed sense of responsibility.

Ability to follow prescribed procedures.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
