Specific Duties/Tasks:
 
The Technical Analyst will serve as a Relativity Administrator. The Relativity Administrator is responsible for the installation, deployment, operation and maintenance of Relativity on a Government system. The Relativity Administrator is responsible for keeping the systems and services up and running; monitoring, analyzing and optimizing server and system performance, including making recommendations for improving performance; performing scheduled system backups; assigning user IDs and passwords; allocating and tracking disc space; providing consulting support and advice.
 
The Relativity Administrator coordinates with the COR technical staff on all Relativity issues. Reports on progress; develops tools for system-wide use in developing applications; prepares system documentation.  Makes presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations to a variety of audiences, including non-technical personnel. The successful candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of the Relativity back-end architecture.
 
 
Qualifications:
In general:  This is a very senior, high-level technical position.  At least five years of specific, hands-on experience actually doing such work is usually expected.  Candidates must demonstrate mastery level skills designing, implementing, and troubleshooting applications, and making use of the software or technology for which consulting services are required.  It is extremely important that candidates demonstrate a successful history of difficult and complex problem-solving with respect to the appropriate systems.  Excellent oral and written communications skills required.  Litigation support experience helpful. Undergraduate degree strongly preferred; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines. Graduate degree in computer science or information management/technology preferred.  Some supervisory or managerial experience may be required.
More specifically, the successful candidate must be able to:
*Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of software and hardware requirements for deploying/upgrading Relativity instances and deploying, managing Relativity Agents.
*Demonstrate strong working knowledge of SQL Server, including T-SQL, SQL Maintenance Plans, Jobs and database tuning as well as experience with Windows Server including monitoring process and memory utilization, MS-SQL event logs, job logs, and backup/restore jobs.
*Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in the administration of case lifecycle in Relativity including the following areas:
*Creating/Managing Clients, Matters, and Workspaces, Creating/Managing Groups and Users, Creating/Managing Indexes, Creating/Managing Scripts,
*Creating/Managing Views,
*Creating/Managing Image and Production Profiles and Sets, Creating/Managing Resource Pools, Creating/Managing Markup Requirements, Applying Users Permissions, Importing/Exporting Case Data, Adding Documents to Production and Running a Conflict Check, Running OCR on Produced Documents, and Exporting Production Sets.
