Help Desk Associate

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide Customer Service/Help Desk support for external customers
  • Responsible for Tier I support and coordinating responses to request for service
  • Resolve problems by conferring with customers and Vendors
  • Create daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Use and support Trouble Ticketing systems
  • Process and return parts
  • Identify issues and recommend solutions by: interviewing customers and analyzing their needs
  • Maintain and document procedures
  • File Service Orders and maintain filing system  

  • Ability to type at least 30 WPM
  • Ability to lift 20 – 30 lbs
  • Must be reliable
  • Some undergraduate coursework completed toward an Associates or Bachelors degree
  • Previous Help Desk experience in a similar capacity preferred
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas
Experience working with Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook Mail and Remedy
