Job Summary:
As a Systems Administrator, you will work among a high-performing and collaborative team in providing litigation support services to the Department of Justice. This position requires a strong Systems background, solid understanding of eDiscovery methodologies, excellent client service skills, and experience in working with cross-functional technical and legal teams. Successful candidates must be solutions and action-oriented, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to executive, business, technical, and client audiences. In addition, the ideal candidate needs to be able to establish an effective client service approach that will deliver on the goals and objectives of all assigned projects with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of IT systems set up by the Government to provide automated litigation support IT resources to specific cases.
  • Coordinates with the company and DOJ technical/automation network staff on issues having to do with DOJ office automation networks.  Reports on progress to all stakeholders.
  • Primary point of contact for Government technical teams and client leaders with oversight for access and technical maintenance
  • Work among a high-performing and collaborative team in supporting a government team providing litigation support from case consultation through review, production, trial and disposition
  • Respond to incoming requests for assistance with Computer access, setting up web conferencing, getting access to the appropriate government systems and credentials, advanced troubleshooting, and consultation on technical workflow solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues while keeping the client informed with well-articulated and frequent updates. Coordinate with internal resources and Relativity Support as needed.
  • Leverage technical expertise to advise client on latest technology and best practices.
  • Draft internal and external documentation, including standard protocols, policies, and lessons learned in order to improve efficiency, standardize processes and enhance overall user experience.
  • Maintain an understanding of e-discovery, market competitors and the hardware/software used to support the client.
  • Work a shift schedule of 9:30am – 6:00pm (Monday - Friday)
Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance/credit check. (active clearance preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 (three) years of hands-on experience implementing system set up (access, credentials, AV support) with a focus on client solutions.
  • Experience designing, obtaining equipment and software, installing, integrating, testing, etc., in the environment required
  • Experience with large systems with a complex mix of operating systems and functions.
  • Must have a good understanding of the specific applications and application software, e.g., SQL, VMs, Relativity, etc.
  • At least one year of experience setting up large scale database management applications, using the applicable database management software. 
  • Experience in storage technology planning, performance capacity planning and modeling, applications planning, human factors issues, distributed processing, and business process analysis. 
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of the Government's IT environments, security requirements, including office automation networks and PC and server based databases and applications.
  • Supervisory experience very strongly preferred.
  • Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial)
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
