Supervisory Paralegal
 
The Supervisory Paralegal will perform the following tasks in support of C&C International's client, but not limited to:

*Performs complex legal and factual research.

*Monitors work and reports on progress.

*Responsible for ensuring that paralegal and support staff work meets contract and attorney requirements and is delivered on time.

*Troubleshoots and performs quality control spot-checks.

*Formulate administrative and technical procedures for getting the work done.

*Designs and develops systems and procedures for tracking, controlling, and managing case files, exhibits, and other case-specific materials.

*Coordinates with other contractor support components, including data processing support staff, in order to accomplish work.

*Duties may involve working on administrative records projects.

*Performs other related duties as assigned

            
Required Qualifications:
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.

*Requires paralegal certificate. An equivalent level of legal training may be substituted with the approval of the COR.

*At least three years of litigation paralegal experience, including trial experience.

*At least one year of experience in automated litigation support.

*Must have supervisory experience, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.

^Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court system, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.

*Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.

*Familiarity and experience with processing, tagging, indexing, and organizing voluminous discovery, including documents, electronic communications, and audio and video recordings, in multi-defendant cases, preferably criminal cases.

*Familiarity and experience with discovery databases such as Concordance, CaseMap or similar databases/programs.

*Familiarity and experience in assisting for preparation and conduct of trials, including preparing and organizing subpoenas for witness testimony and organizing and managing exhibits for presentation at trial.

*Must have hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging.

*Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Access and Outlook), WordPerfect Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional and/or similar applications.

*Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure will be very important.

*Some walking, standing, bending, and carrying of small office items and/or moderately heavy items such as boxes.

*Ability to obtain a security clearance.

*Must be a U.S. Citizen.
 Desired Skills:
*Experience working in a law firm and/or Government environment in conjunction with basic qualifications, strongly preferred.

*JDs /Law Degree, preferred

*Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of e-discovery procedures and resources, preferred.

*Experience with Criminal cases, strongly preferred.

*Current or active clearance, preferred.
