Expected assignments and specialized duties are as follows.

  • Civil (3 individuals) –
  • Processes, tags, indexes, and organizes voluminous discovery, including documents, electronic communications, and audio and video recordings, in multi-defendant and multi-plaintiff cases.
  • Produces high quality work using IPRO Eclipse, Relativity, and Excel, and Quickbooks. Tags documents in IPRO Eclipse and Relativity.
  • Creates and uses Excel spreadsheets, and reviews Quickbooks files.
  • Produces high quality products using PACER/ECF
  • Works on civil investigations and other fraud cases, including health care. 
  • Environmental (CVB) Section (1 individual) –
  • Organizes court calendars for appearances on misdemeanors and infractions in diverse locations involving multiple defendants and law enforcement agencies.
  • Assists with discovery, motion preparation, trial preparation for misdemeanor cases on calendar, probation revocations, and appeals to the District Court and Ninth Circuit.
  • Assists in court with arraignments and trials.
  • Processes and organizes large volumes of discovery.
  • Handles oral and written inquiries from pro se defendants, court clerks, law enforcement, and legal personnel at various agencies and military bases. 
  • Cyber Section (1 individual) –
  • Processes, tags, indexes, and organizes voluminous discovery, including documents, electronic communications, and audio and video recordings, in multi-defendant cases.
  • Produces high quality work using IPRO Eclipse, Relativity, and Excel, and Quickbooks.
  • Tags documents in IPRO Eclipse and Relativity.
  • Creates and uses Excel spreadsheets, and reviews Quickbooks files.
  • Produces high quality products using PACER/ECF.
  • Works on criminal investigations, including health care and tax cases. 
  • Major Frauds Section (2 individuals) –
  • Processes, tags, images, indexes, and organizes voluminous discovery, including documents, electronic communications, and audio and video recordings, in multi-defendant cases.
  • Produces high quality work involving complex fact patterns and charges needed to include locating specific key documents to support charging documents.
  • Produces high quality work using Adobe, Microsoft Access, Google Translate, IPRO Eclipse, Relativity, and Excel.
  • Tags documents in IPRO Eclipse and Relativity.
  • Produces high quality work creating and using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Produces high quality work using PACER/ECF.
  • Works on criminal investigations of health care and financial fraud crimes. 
  • Violent and Organized Crime Section (3 individuals) –
  • Processes, tags, indexes, and organizes voluminous discovery, including documents, electronic communications, and audio and video recordings, in multi-defendant violent and organized crime cases.
  • Produces high quality work using discovery databases, such as IPRO Eclipse and Relativity. 
  • National Security Division (1 individual) –
  • Builds IPRO Eclipse, Relativity, Eclipse databases to allow for the efficient input and searching of the results of internet subpoenas and search warrants; e.g. I.P. addresses and domain names.
  • Produces high quality work when organizing and preparing declassified FISA material for use at trial. 
  • Tax Division (1 individual) –
  • Ensures an efficient and timely output of subpoenas, including coordinating victim-witness related matters for trial and witness testimony
  • Acts as point of contact for banks, including foreign bank matters, regarding document production, reimbursement, and ensures that all reimbursements are correct and paid in a timely manner.
  • Assists with document review and analysis, including receiving, assembling, and organizing the information in a useful and expedited manner to assist the investigation and trial team in complex financial cases.
  • Assists with bankruptcy litigation. 
  • Litigation Support – Electronic Discovery Center (EDC) (1 individual) –
  • Processes, tags, indexes, and organizes voluminous discovery, including documents, electronic communications, and audio and video recordings, in multi-defendant cases.
  • Produces high quality work using IPRO Eclipse, Relativity, Excel, using IPRO Viewer, eScan—IT, and Eclipse.
