Computer Help Desk/ I.T. Service Ticket Technician

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in office/ on-site position
Pay Rate: starting at $14 to $16 an hour, based on experience
This is a full-time position.

Job Summary
- Remotely analyze computer systems trouble tickets, and order warranty parts from specific manufactures
- Input data into company CRM system, I.T. Service Management System
- Produce various daily and weekly reports for customers
- Coordinate parts ordering and returns to manufacturers
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Two (2) years customer service experience preferred
- Ability to handle four (4) phone lines preferred
- Understanding of internet & email
- Familiarity with database systems for CRM and I.T. Service Management
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Must be detail-oriented
Duties and Responsibilities (included by not limited to)
- Manage communications electronically, handle a multiple line phone system and route all inbound calls
- Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
- Remotely analyze computer systems’ trouble tickets
- File and complete work orders and ensure accurate follow-up of all trouble tickets
- Order warranty parts from manufacturers and coordinate parts returns
- Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up service call
- Produce daily and weekly reports for customers and input data into CRM system
- Review and analyze computer code trends and add to knowledge base
Skills:
- Follow data security procedures
- Follow data/ document file storage procedures
- Recommend software or hardware purchases
- Understand computer equipment operating manuals
- Use computer networking technology, LAN external server/ hard drive
- Use relational database software, i.e. I.T. Service Management Systems
- Use spreadsheet software i.e. MS Excel
- Communicate technical information
- Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data
- Use interpersonal communication techniques
- Use word processing or desktop publishing software
- Select software for clerical activities
- Consult with staff or users to identify operating procedure problems
- Recommend purchase or repair of furnishings or equipment
- Monitor operating conditions
